The Portuguese Certification Association – APCER formally recognized the Portuguese registry, DNS.PT, with the ISO 27001: 2013 certification.

The LusNIC - Portuguese language ccTLD's association was formally constituted, in e-Show Portugal, integrating for now Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Portugal and Sao Tome and Principe. Angola has also formally expressed interest in joining the Association.

The DNS.PT has just released the Registry Lock Service, a premium service which gives additional security protection for the data linked to domain names, thereby avoiding unauthorized changes, transfers or deletions.

It has already been signed a Memorandum that will come into action in mid-August and it is a pioneering agreement at European level of self-regulation regarding the protection of copyright and related rights in the digital environment.

DNS.pt will offer vouchers 3in1 to the participants in the project.
