On its website, the DNS.PT Association, also known as .PT, provides information on domain names under the .pt TLD and initiatives carried out within the scope of its activity, namely domain search, WHOIS, domain registration, on-line management of existing domains, renewals and payments, access to national and international news on activities in this field, DNSSEC security, statistics, technical assessment of domains, domain conversion – IDN.
This website is managed and operated by the DNS.PT Association – with its head office at Rua Eça de Queiroz, 29, 1050-095, Lisboa, Portugal
As the result of legislative decision embodied in the Decree-Law n º 55/2013 of 17 April was formally established the DNS.PT Association, which now operates independently of FCCN. Thus, all possible references to FCCN in this site are due to the fact that the management of the ccTLD .pt was responsibility of this institution until the May, 31, 2013.
All existing items on this website, namely text, images, graphics, files, layout, structure, among others, is protected by the law on intellectual property and, especially by Copyright protection.The above-mentioned items may not therefore be copied for commercial use or for distribution, nor modified or re-sent to other websites.This website may also contain images that constitute third-party intellectual property, and are equally subject to the laws applicable to the protection of copyright and intellectual property.
Insertion, alteration or suppression of the information provided on this website, by the user and without the due consent of the Association DNS.PT, as well as the interference with the IT system which supports it in order to hinder or disturb its functioning and generally any behaviour which comprises the practice of IT-related crimes, is prohibited and punishable by law and the Association DNS.PT will take the necessary measures so that the offender is punished according to civil and/or criminal law.
