Apps for Good: the winner of the .PT Award is already known

Evina Pimenta is the winner of the .PT Young Student Award, within the scope of the 7th edition of the Apps for Good program. Evina, from Colégio Senhor dos Milagres in Leiria, developed the 11Fontes solution. More than solving the problem of the recurrent habit of buying plastic water bottles, 11Fontes solution intends to be the application of the Leiria municipality that allows you to find the nearest fountains of drinking water and check its occupation.

In addition to the .PT Young Student Award, .PT has been a global partner of the Apps for Good initiative since 2016. Apps for Good is an educational program organized by CDI Portugal that aims the use of technology by younger people, as a way to solve society's problems and meet the Sustainable Development Goals, through the creation of apps.
