The Presence That Inspires: Leadership and Culture
Managing people continues to be, above all, about caring for them.
And caring means listening, adapting, respecting, and creating conditions for everyone to give their best — every day, whether in person or remotely.

In a world where hybrid work and flexibility have become highly valued, the challenges of leadership are constantly evolving. It's no longer enough to define strategies or manage teams. Today, leading also means creating safe environments where there is room to make mistakes, learn, and grow. It’s about building bridges between the digital and the human. It’s about giving presence a purpose, rather than just demanding presence.

At .PT, we’ve been reflecting a lot on this:

  • How do we keep culture alive from a distance?
  • How do we promote well-being and autonomy without losing the sense of belonging?
  • How do we make change desirable — and not just necessary?

The answer lies in a combination of technology, emotional intelligence, and organizational culture.

Technology at the service of people

Artificial intelligence has brought significant advancements. But it’s in people analytics that we see the greatest impact: analyzing real data, listening in real time, and acting based on evidence.

At .PT, we do this through a monthly engagement survey available on our app, which allows us to identify trends, adjust course, and provide meaningful responses. Active listening has become one of our main management tools.

The culture that unites us, even from a distance

Barra Barra is no longer just a workplace — it has become a cultural hub for .PT: a space where identity is strengthened, creativity flourishes, and relationships become more human, closer, and more cohesive.

Organizational culture is now the glue that holds dispersed teams together. It provides consistency and alignment, even when we are physically apart.

And taking care of culture means taking action:

  • Social initiatives and sharing sessions
  • Financial literacy, emotional intelligence, and artificial intelligence training
  • Workshops and awareness programs on relevant topics
  • Mentoring and internal development opportunities
  • Continuous training and access to learning platforms like our app
  • Active participation in external events and knowledge sharing
  • Ongoing support for our teams

All of this reinforces a simple yet powerful idea: care is practical. It's in the daily actions — not just the intentions.

The Role of HR: Aligning Teams with .PT’s Strategy

Human Resources has taken on an increasingly strategic and cross-functional role in organizations. More than just a support function, HR is now a true driver of culture, alignment, and sustainable development.

Through strengthening cohesion between departments, actively listening to teams, and building fair and transparent management practices, HR’s role reflects an integrated vision: caring for people and ensuring each talent finds space to grow, contribute, and belong.

At .PT, we’re bringing this vision to life through several structured initiatives — such as the annual individual development plan that supports continuous growth for each employee, a range of benefits, awareness campaigns on important topics, mentoring, and learning platforms. These examples reflect our commitment to putting people at the center of decision-making and reinforcing trust with those already with us — and those we hope will join us.

Promoting clear criteria for progression, coherent communication, and practices aligned with the organization’s values is not just a responsible choice — it’s a competitive advantage.

And you — what inspires you to better care for your team?

Lead with empathy and data. Promote belonging through flexibility. Act with consistency and listen with openness.

This is the vision that drives us at .PT.
Because, at the end of the day, inspired people build purposeful organizations.
