.PT joins the European TLD ISAC

.PT has joined the European Top-Level Domain Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (European TLD ISAC), the cybersecurity center of expertise for the European domain name system (DNS) and TLD registry operators.

The TLD ISAC provides a platform for collaboration and information sharing among its members with a unique view of the technical and governance aspects of cybersecurity, as well as the associated risks for the sector. At a European level, it serves as a source of best practices and specialized knowledge related to secure use of the DNS system. It also regularly promotes information sessions and publications on the topic of cybersecurity, as a way of raising public awareness about a more secure use of the DNS system and its protocols.

As an active member of the TLD ISAC, .PT is at the center of the discussion of best practices and benefits from important resources that strengthen the action of PTSOC, the .PT Security Operations Center. In this way, membership represents, for .PT, an important step in promoting cybersecurity and the resilience of its infrastructure, as well as a reinforced guarantee of protection for .pt domains.
